Monthly debit for postal statement without notice

Standard Bank debited my Prestige Account with R9.00 to mail my current account statement. This is apparently a new monthly charge but I was never notified that R 9.00 a month will be charged for each mailed statement, which I require for VISAS as I am a frequent business traveller. Should I require an original statement in future then I will have to request it from my branch and be charged a fee! Sad.
