I called this morning to change a DATE of a debit order for my loan account. One would think something like this would be quite easy to do telephonically.
I was shocked when i was told my EMPLOYERS had to send the request in writing to change the date as i do not have a primary account with FNB. At this point not going to happen either
I applied for this loan in my personal capacity and has nothing to do with my employers so why then do THEY have to send the date change?
My original application form had my preferred date and low and behold the date on which the debit is set is different.
Surely FNB, being such a big bank with huge branding and marketing, a pretty good reputation you can streamline your processes to be more client friendly. And i thought FNB was a brand to be reckoned with.
I shall be staying with my bank as i can get almost anything done via the contact centre, hassle free
