I cancelled my insurance with Auto & General cause of bad service that I have always recieved from them since I started insurance with them in 2010. I have complained more than once but was never sorted the last draw was when they raised my premiums by R260 they I decided to find a better insurance. I called them well in advance requested for a cancellation and that I will leave my home insurance since ABSA requires that you insure with them if you have their home loan. I was told by Nicola that they will not be able to cancel the debit order as it has already been processed (which was even before the debit date) then after the debit order has gone through I must send her my bank statement I will be refunded the next day. I did just that which I sent on the 27 March till now I have not been refunded, I followed up with her then she changed the story that I will be paid by the 10 April that was not the initial agreement and yestsreday I asked that she provides me with a persons contact they I can escalate to (this money was suppose to be debited by my new insurance & I explained that to her). she claimed that her refund department is not answering the phone (is that possible for suc
