ATMS never working

Standard bank has a policy for cheque deposits. A fee is charged if the deposit is not done via an ATM. At their K90 branch the machine is constantly out of order. It wastes my time to go there only to get a machine that is out of order. I have been complaining about this on every occasion. This time i am insisting on compensation for my wasted time as this was approximately the fifth occasion that the machines are out of order. From the onset of speaking to him, I could already see that he is not interested, I am just a number who is complaining. Standard bank's new logo about going forward. I don't know if Standard bank wants to move forward and lose all my business. I tried complaining via Standard bank first but as I have heard before " a company only takes your complaint seriously if the complaint is made on a public platform"
The only thing he will offer is an apology, which does not compensate me in any way nor solve my issue.
If he is the bank manager, I really need to move to a different bank. He needs to view the customers profile first before making a decision. This problem was supposed to have been escalated to the regional manager on the 28th March already.
