STUDENT ROBBED IN FRONT OF AN ATM ABSA BRANCH

I am a University of Pretoria female student. On Wednesday I was robbed of cash while using the ABSA ATM in Arcadia (Beckett corner of Church street). A stranger came from be-hide me & suddenly grabbed my Silver ABSA Student Debit Card aggressively & pretended to be helping me slot it in without my consent. I was frightened & asked him to leave. He left me under the impression that my card was inside the ATM; even though I covered my hand when I was pressing my pin numbers, I believe he may have seen them & quickly run away. I immediately sensed something wrong & went to the ABSA Branch adjacent to its ATM &called the security inside to help block my card. As ABSA Stuff were slowly attending to me, sms started alerting from my phone that someone was withdrawing all my cash.By the time my my card was blocked, the stranger had withdrawn all the cash I had to survive with for 2 months (R2093). The bank will only attend to my case after 9 days. It is the responsibility of the bank to have faster assistance & turn around; to ensure that a security guard is always near the ATM outside & take responsibility of ensuring customer safety. I demand to speak to most senior of that depart
