Roadside assistance... Really?

On my way home last night my car broke down next to the N4 highway, all alone and not knowing what to do, with a little brother (8) waiting home from aftercare since 18:00 all alone... 17: 50 on the 3/4/13 i logged a call for roadside assistance. i was then told it was going to take 45 min for someone to come help me and they will phone again to follow up and see if i'm okay, i thought it was a long time but decided to wait as i don't have anyone else to contact for help as everyone is on holiday. after the 45 min have passed i got another message saying help is on its way and the new EST is 60 min, it now being dark and me being all alone i phoned again and only then did the lady say she will see if there is a guardian angel available to come and sit by me. They never once phoned to see if i'm still okay, not once. Eventually another car stopped and offered to help me, and at that time i phoned and cancelled. i pay for this service yet i didn't get any. this leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
