I was in a accident about 2 weeks back.
Outsurance then rejected my claim due to me being over the permitted alcohol level.
But this is utter nonsense.
They have no proof that I was over the legal limit.
I did state that I was drinking the night of the incidence, but I have a handy little tool that I use to check my alcohol level before I drive. And I used this gadget of mine the night of the incidence and it showed that I was under the limit.
At the seen of the accident there also arrived a police officer, who's name and contact details I gave the outsurance team.
When I spoke to this police officer I asked him to do an alcohol test on me. He then replied by saying.
He does not think it is necessary as I don't look drunk to him.
If outsurance cant give me any proof that I was over the permitted alcohol level, I will be forced to go to the ombudsman.
My claim number is: 95598372
