African Bank

My husband went to African Bank in Colonade. He had all the required documentation with him.
He had a ONCE OFF staff loan deducted from his account - stated on his payslip.
The agent that was assisting him told him that he needed a letter from his work on a company letterhead stating that this was a once off thing.
He did that and went into Alberton (voortrekker road) branch and personally handed in all the documentation - incuding the letterhead as requested by African Bank).
Now he gets told that his application has been declined.
When he asekd why, he was told that the ONCE OFF personal loan was marked as a MONTHLY EXPENCE.
Now why waste his time by telilng him to get a letter head with the information regarding the staff loan if they refuse to help him in the first place???

Neither my husband nor I will be dealing with African Bank again.

I am disgusted.
