Waiting for a month for claim to be processed

I have a few policies with Hollard that I got through Edgars. I claimed on the 26th February for the Funeral benefit of my twins, only one claim was processed more than a week later for one twin and another claim close to a month later for the second one. A reduced amount was paid for the second claim because they said (only when I inquired about the pay-out) that they paid out a wrong amount initially.
I also made a hospital claim on the 04th March and only 3 of the 10 days I spent in hospital was paid and to this day I don't know why that was done. Each time I call to inquire about the claim, I am told by the call centre agent after 10 minutes of holding that the matter is being escalated. Since I call them each time from my cellphone, the whole claim amount if it does get paid out eventually would have been used for airtime!!!
