I have endless issues with the Absa foreign services. It is appalling to deal with such incompetence on a monthly basis. Dealing with my banking when I am overseas is when I need the most help & I hardly get anything close to satisfactory. I am always proactive & send all the information required to [Email Removed] to release international transfers into my Absa account & almost every time I send the details, I get a response asking for the details which I just supplied Absa with. While this sounds like a fairly minor issue, it creates unnecessary frustration & anger because it delays the transfer & takes up more time -which I cannot afford to waste. Neither did I get any joy out of trying to change my RVN details while I was abroad. What really ticked me off was that no one even bothered to apologise when I previously complained about this lack of service. I'd just receive an empty automated response to say the transfer was successful. Previously, I let it slide, in hope that things would change but I am disgusted with the service I received yet again. I complained last week again & no one has contacted me yet. I would never recommend anyone traveling to bank with Absa.
