Cannot get any credit for an unknown reason

A couple of years ago I ran into financial difficulty and couldn't pay my debt. I put myself onto debt review and paid everything back within 3 years. However, I still cannot get any kind of credit from this bank even though I have paid everything. They keep telling me that I am a code 3 and need to bring paperwork in proving that everything is paid up, whereby they will then change my code to a 0. Yet they have the paperwork. They are the ones who supplied it to me. However, my wife who was also in similar position but never went my route and has paid her debt up with the bank, can get any finance needed even though they were about to go to court to get judgement... Now you tell me, how that is possible. It has been over a year since clearing my name and can get finance anywhere but this bank.

Doesn't matter, I have transferred my banking to Standard Bank. FNB lost a customer who was with them when they were still BOB!!! No more ripping me off.
