Terrible service and handling of accounts

I paid off all my outstanding debt in Feb this year and according to Debtbusters (the company that handled my debt review process, I am now debt free and no longer listed as under debt review. However, when I requested my credit report, Standard bank still shows an outstanding balance. I contacted them and they confirmed that I don't owe them any monies (I paid settlement amounts), but that they haven't updated my profile yet.

Now after numerous phone calls, months later, I'm still waiting. I have heard every excuse in the book. One call centre agent even tried to tell me that the accounts will never show as paid and will forever show as outstanding. The last time I phoned, I was told to wait ten days for them to process the request and that everything will be sorted.

Needless to say, nothing happened.

My debt was settled with them two years in advance and I never missed a payment while under debt review.

I urgently need this sorted out, but no one at the bank seems inclined to help me.

I work in the gambling industry and my employee license is up for review. Due to Standard bank's negligence, I might now lose my job.

I really don't know what to do anymore.
