Please could a knowledgeable person assist

Business & Finance

Almost 6 years ago, I consolidated my debt and was handed a silver credit card. I owe more todayin repayments than I did 6 years ago!! I have tried, in vain, to obtain advice on how best I can pay this account off in full. The legal office says I must speak to the lawyers who, in turn, tell me to speak to FNB. Please could I just have an answers and advice - or is this too difficult. (1) Why do I owe more today than I did 6 years ago; (2) What is the outstanding balance as nobody seems to be able to verify this; (3) How can I ensure that I cover the interest and legal costs to avoid these taking up the bulk of my monthly installment. If FNB can take the time to contact me and give me advice, I would appreciate it. I'm sure if I wanted to open up a new account, I would get a speedy response...
There is just no way that one can phone FNB from a cellular phone as the time it takes them to answer, one's airtime is finished.
