Going Back on their Undertaking

This is a report that I am writing on behalf of an extremely upset client of mine. To cut a long story short, a property jointly owned by my client and her ex-husband now deceased, is being sold, there is a bond on the property and Absa threatened to foreclose on the property because of arrears bond repayments. Absa however told their representative attorney that they would hold back on taking judgement as the property was being sold. The next thing we heard was that judgement had been taken against my client and for about 2 months now I have been battling to get written confirmation from Absa to confirm 1) that they will rescind their judgement and 2) to get written confirmation from them and a printout confirming that my client had/would not be listed on a credit bureau. Needless to say, I have still not received anything from them. I have had to get my attorneys to give me a printout re the necessary credit bureau enquiries... Yet again Absa are living up to their ever growing reputation of giving poor/pathetic services. I most certainly will NEVER entrust them with my finances, they are pathetic and I am sick and tired of seeing clients being "used and abused." by them!!!
