Bank account open since 2008 but not active

I wrote a lot of complaints for FNB and i haven't received any feed back. it's been over a year and every time i send a request that FNB explain to me how the account I had in 2008 was still open and gaining interest of up R10 000 and now its been send to creditors. this causing me a lot of grief and affecting my Probity checks at the company I'm working for. please assist ASAP
