Many years ago I had a discovery card and the account was settled in 2008 and have not heard from fnb/discovery since 2008 yet all the details they have for me is correct. Today I receive an sms from their attorneys stating that I have been handed over. This has had me in tears the whole morning cause it surprises me how the bank conveniently does not keep records but expect the client to. No one in fnb can explain why I have not been contacted for the last 5yrs and after 5yrs fnb hands me over. I am surprised and disgusted that a huge company like fnb/discovery can people.
Discovery is now asking for the settlement letter I received to settle my account yet they should have it on their system but to the people they conveniently don't have it. Last year October I changed employers so I don't have all the emails of my correspondence with them in 2008.
