ABSA not forthcoming and very bad service

I closed my credit card 6 months ago in the branch. This took 3 hours and many frustrating discussions to do. Finally I thought it was closed.

A couple of months down the line, I get a bill for the credit card I do not have and have closed.

To make a long story short, we have been communicating via the email channel. They only took 3-4 weeks to respond the first couple of times. I would send an email, then they email back- please give your credit card number. I do not have it, as it was cut up in the bank. Then go into the branch. I have been there many times, I do not want to go there and waste my time again. Then what is your customer number? how would I know, as I do not have an account with you anymore... no one bothers to call me.

After a long and stressful process, I made the final payment and thought it was closed. Then I received another statement this week. I sent a mail. the reply: please send your customer number. really?

I am really fed up. I want this to be closed and over with. I will also move all my assets, as well as all of my family's over to another bank that do not treat people like this.
