Loan paid up but it still reflects at ITC. Angry!

I took a loan with FNB last year and paid it off. I applied for a loan to study further with another credit provider just to find that after a credit check I still owe FNB which then makes it impossible to get credit. I have gone to two different branches, called their loan dept and all three Credit Bureaus but still nothing has been done. This is causing so much frustration and slowing me down. I am really disappointed to say the least and having read the other complaints; it seems that FNB has a very poor admin department where updating their systems is not a priority which causes a ripple effect of all things negative for their clients. So as their Slogan says ' How can we help you? " Well please sort this out!!
