This must be the worst bank EVER to bank with

FNB..their motto-How can we help you. This is how i was helped. I was retrenched and took my documents in to prove i was retrenched as i have a home loan and credit card.after the consultant phoned the credit card dept. she hung up and told me...'You dont have credit card protection and it is now with pre legal dept'.and that was her helping me.nothing remotely helpful like..'phone this number'..or 'maybe you must make arrangements by...'.nothing of the sort.utterly pathetic.then she called the housing dept. And with my i.d number they couldnt pick up my home loan account.they wanted wifes details but im the main applicant.how stupid. Then she said they would phone me.that was monday.tomorrow is friday.still no call.as for their 'no credit card protection' why do they allow people with such a high credit limit to go without it? it should be compulsory i think.for such a 'MAJOR' bank they majorly need a clue.my limit was R16000.no credit protection. I had a loan of R36000 with CAPITEC.loan written off cos of FREE retrenchment cover. FNB .really rubbish bank. Once i work i will definitely move my home loan and never bank with this bank again
