I have just become aware of that is occuring on my company's account and we are losing money! I called the call centre to report the, but was told they do not deal with the and was given another call centre number to call. After holding on for over 6 minutes I was told that call centre only does card and was given another number to call. This number tells you it is the line and that the call will be recorded and then just rings. The first time I held on for 10 minutes before giving up. I am now listening to a telephone ring for 16 minutes and counting. This is an urgent matter that I need to report immediately as customers are now paying money into a account and as a result we are losing money. There is no way to complain to Standard Bank directly as there is no such option on any of the call centre numbers not is that facility catered for on the website, . Hence I have resorted to Hello Peter. I find this service shocking. I have had to report 2 similar cases in the past (to FNB and Nedbank) and both banks where prompt and helpful in assisting me put stops on the account.
