I have liaised with Sayid from the pre legal dept following a lapse of one month's payment due to a nasty divorce, relocation back to Dbn for personal reasons and a tenant who left me with debt of R50, 000.Absa have been supportive and compassionate to date. However, after discussion with Sayid, I made him aware that I am constantly harassed by call centre agents who are not only rude, but talk to me like I am a criminal. I am a single parent who has sustained herself financially for many years and I am proud of that.

I am not sure why if Sayid is dealing with me on a personal level, that the agents phone me from 4 to 5 times a day. They never understand what you are trying to tell them and then you have to tell your story all over again to different people. Being financially vulnerable is not a good place to be in and the agents have absolutely no compassion and concern. I would like the harassment to stop! Sayid and I have come to an agreement which is being complied with so not sure why the agents phone me daily!!!
