I have been waiting for feedback regarding a default that was put to my name by ABSA Bank last year June and have tried to find out how it came about since November when I received a credit report on my name. I have thus far received no proof that they ever advised me that they will be taking such a drastic step nor has anyone bothered to advise me who I should be dealing with. I keep getting told to phone someone else. They dont know who I should be dealing with. The account has been paid in full but the default still remains. Had it not been for the credit report i drew i would never have known about this default and would continue being declined for credit without ever understanding it.
