First National Bank
Costly incorrect information given

Business & Finance

My bond is currently with FNB, my wife had asked me to move banks to FNB from Standard Bank, I must say that my every interaction with FNB has been painfull. From them cancelling the account i had opened after 2 months, while I was changing my debit orders to not reciving my ebucks card.

This is now a very costly error that FNB has now made, after changing my debit order and giving 1 months notice, FNB did not deduct the debit order off my account, Alarmed I contacted FNB home loans and spoke to Sibusiso. I asked him why FNB had not deducted my debit order, the repsonse I was given was, when you change debit orders no interest is charged, and the debit order is processed the following month.

I asked him, are you sure about this, 100% sure, he said 120% sure. Guess what happens next, Checked my statement, and now my debit order increases each month to cover the payment that did not go off at the end of February.

I contacted Sibusiso this morning, and asked him to review the recording of the conversation he had with me, I was told he would review the call, and then contact me this afternoon at 12am, Too add insult to injury he does not call me back. What do I do?
