Services rendered unsatisfactory, more damage now

Initial claim, home repairs (claim nr. 2276484), roof was "re-sealed" due to rain damage reported by myself.

After said repairs, I complained to consultant about the service rendered. Roof was painted in 2010 as burgundy, the sealant was RED and the roof looked ridiculous.? 100 spots of red on my roof.

I was not satisfied, was told by consultant that it would cost too much to re-paint the roof, and that the red will "fade". This was 3 months ago. Still no change to the spots.

Storm on 13/3/13 was heavy rain, resulted in a massive leak in the kitchen, floor underwater and damage done to the ceiling of the kitchen now as well.

Original claim was thus never tended to. The leak is still there, after the "re-sealing".

Now more damage than before the claim.

Not happy that I need to fit the bill to fix my roof. Was told "it doesn't look that bad". THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.

I have been a client of ABSA for 30 years and have never claimed until now, and I deeply regret it.

Also, all my other claims (garage roof, awnings) have been rejected for bogus reasons.

What is the point of having home owners insurance if claims are carried out in this way or not even approved.
