HBZ R/D PEOPLES CHEQUES

On 21 December payed a supplier with a Chq to the value of R10000. Supplier calls me on 2 Jan to say chq was unpaid on 31 Dec even though our bank had already deducted the R10000 from our account. We call HBZ and Shabista says that our chq was 150% dedinitley R/D and promises to have the chq returned to us proving that it was unpaid. After a week of endless phone calls, we eventualy get hold of shabista at HBZ and she says HBZ had made a error. She then calls my supplier and said HBZ had made and error and will credit his account, at that she had already called us to explain. What Shabista you never called us we had to call you. Carefull when dealing with this bank they will take your money and 150% put the blame on you, making you look like a fool to Suppliers. WE WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED A DECENT APPOLOGY FROM YOU BUT CLEARLY YOUR BANK IS NOT TRAINED ENOUGH TO DO SUCH THINGS!!!
