Unauthorized dedcution of R21000 from my account

It was to my dismay and complete horror that i discovered yesterday that an amount of approximately R21 000) was taken unauthorized from my savings account by the Nedbank Card division. I was told by Menlyn branch that i needed to wait until this morning to contact the legal department as they were already closed yesterday afternoon.

I left several messages for a Ms Kamo Makwinzha who made the deduction and when i finally got hold of her, she ranted and raved that she can make any deduction without contacting me or consulting me. Never once was i called in the last 24 months. I am more than willing to sign a debit order for a reasonable amount to be deducted monthly until its paid off. However R21000 in one go without authorization or so much as a phone call? I have kids to feed and to send to school and am currently under debt review. She was totally unprofessional and told me i can take it wherever i want to, if more money is paid into my savings account, she will take that as well. Really? Is this what Nedbank stands for? Is this reasonable and fair? What has happened to customer service and humanity? In view of the latest Consumer Act and the National Credit Act!
