After an unfortunate incident where a supplier accidentally charged me twice for the same product I phoned Capitec at 6AM and spoke to Janine, who immediately said the bank will look into it. Janine was very friendly, understanding and professional. And it was great to have a call centre agent who could actually speak English too.
Within three hours of the call Capitec had reversed the transaction and re-deposited the money into my account -- ON A SATURDAY MORNING!
This excellent service reminds me why I will never go back to one of the so-called 'big banks'. Thank you.
