If you are subjected to a and you bank with Absa, then you're in trouble. I notified Absa the same day that this incident happened, followed their instruction and now 3 weeks later they tell me they can't help as it's taken too much time. They didn't listen to me and never gave me all the instructions in one go, but over the course if 3 weeks and now tell me that they only had 5 days to cancel the transaction. I have been a customer for 30 years and the little regard and urgency they've shown in this matter, needless to say the money they have lost me, is appalling. Consider changing your bank as your money is not safe with Absa bank.
