Must I pay money over manually?

Had an account/loan with Direct axis - final payment was suppose to go off last year - for -R200.00.

I was paying this loan via debit order and the last statement said that the final outstanding amount of around R200 will be deducted automatically. This never happened and now the account shows in arrears and interest is added every month - last time I check that was.

Why was the final installment not deducted and why am I being charged interest on something you did wrong?

Reverse incorrect charges and finalize this account - and do the final deduction as you should have last year. Do I have to manually sort this out because your accounts dept. is incapable?
