Loan application

I received a call from Direct Axis about 3 months ago to verify my details about approving a loan. I was surprised since I did not apply for a loan and made it very clear that this is possibly a and they should cancel it and not proceed to release the money. They sated that the money was going to be paid into a Capitec account which is even more suspicious since I do not bank with Capitec. In spite of our discussion, a month later, Direct axis decides to go ahead and pay out the loan to a Capitec account holder. I am now being harassed for payment and receiving notice for arrears. This is frustrating, I may now be handed over to Credit Bureau. Direct Axis is unable to give me any details pertaining the application for loan. I called Capitec personally and they confirmed that they do not have any account in my name. So where did the money go? Direct axis's systems and ethics are now in question.
