I took cover with King Price in Dec 2012. All disclosures was made to the insurer. After 3 premiums and my 1st claim for a cellphone that was repaired twice and finally replaced due to bad workmanship. I was notified that King Price could not accept my cover and I was given 30 days cancellation notice with a reason that it was a staff errror.

I have sent my objection in writing to a senior manager, to date I have had no response as this is the procedure I must follow to lay a complaint to the Ombudsman for the unfair cancellation and to have my premiums refunded if it was a staff error. I have to now declare that I was cancelled to my future insurers and this will have a impact on my premiums and cover.

I have left messages for the retention department to call me and when I call back as to why no one has contacted me, I was told the messages was closed of by Tracy and no one responds to my emails even on read receipts which I can clearly see and recorded. I requested a cancellation letter to state my cover ended on the 24th February 2013 with King Price, which I am still waiting for after 4 requests to date.
