Unlawful cancellation

We received a call from king price insurance on the 19th december 2013, they ibformed us we have not had cover since may 2013 even though our payments were up to date. The reason was that my wife had undergone debt review. Not on itc not blacklisted. But still our policy had been cancelled due to this. According to the credit act this is unlawful as we have had cover with them for more than 18months already. Thry have since paid the premiums back. But never informed us that we were not covered. Furthermore they told us had we been in an accident they would only pay our premiums back. You cannot discriminate against someone who is applying for help. I will be taking this up wuth the insurance ombudsnan and pursuing legal action.
