Still awaiting for payout from application

I done a loan application online, was called a couple of hours later saying that i qualified, Went through finalizing the application and was told everything is fine, i must please go to the nearest branch to sign paperwork and hand in paperwork,

Went to branch on friday where they reassed the application and said i still qualify, recieved absolutely no feedback and was told that it is in the assesment que, now the lady i done the application with is not at work because she is off sick,

when i phoned head office they told me that they are still assesing the application, How long does it take to see whether i am able to pay for it???
