I went to capitec this morning after I was found that an unauthorised debit order went off my account. when I tried to reverse this, I was told that capitec no longer reverse debit orders unless proof is supplied by the 3rd party and it has been investigated. when requested for it to be returned I got an attitude that there is nothing they can do and that I must go sort it out with the 3rd party! Do you really think the 3rd party will give me a letter in order for you to reverse the amounts? NO COMMUNICATION was received from Capitec bank regarding this new implementation from them. once again on Friday you were off line for some or other reason, this just coming of the whole late December deductions! it is utterly disgusting that you treat your customers in this manner! I came home, applied online for me new account and will still receive my new bank card in this week. Have already received my new bank account number! Good bye Capitec with your pathetic service and pathetic staff! I paid you every month to look after my money and service me! not the 3rd party!!!
