I went to ABSA to open a Prepaid Debit Card Facility so I can transact online, to purchase online. This product is called a One Touch Card [URL Removed] I go and apply for this account, get told that there are no such facilities like this, and that now I have to either get a Credit Card or a Checking Card, (both of which I don't want due to exorbitant fees attached). Even the lady who tried to assist us, even said that the fees attached are high. I have been a client since the days when United Bank was still around. Give my wife and I ONE good reason that we shouldn't switch to another bank LIKE FNB or Capitech. It seems loyalty to a bank is to your detriment, as they have no care about their clientele.
