Debit order going off before agreeed date

Good day

Can someone tell me why my debit order went off on 25 instead of 28 because I do not recall giving anyone authority to debit my account on the 25th for sake I only get paid on the last day of the month. I am very upset as this has caused a negative in my bank account as it reflects as unpaid. Can this be fixed as a matter of urgency and the fees that I've incurred because of this error paid.
