On the 16/02/2013 (this past Saturday), I went to my branch to get assistance with a query. I was met by the most unhelpful woman ever and been given the worst attitude (unfortunately, I was not able to get her name but she was an elderly coloured woman who on the day was assisting with the bank statement queries as well). In any case, I went to seek assistance as I have recently resigned from my current employer and as I am currently serving my notice, my companies payroll office has issued me with a letter advising that my final salary will not be deposited into my bank account on the 25th of Feb (is it is deposited on that day every month), but rather seven working days later. I then enquired whether it would be possible to notify my bank, as i have a debit order with them, to deduct same on the 11/03/2013 as that is when my final salary will be in. I was asked "what I expect them to do and told that they do not have the authority to assist me? " Really? Its funny that I never got this problem with any of my other debtors and yet my own bank, whom I have been banking with for years cant even help me? I was then referred to the manager who is also never there! Frustrated much!!!
