FNB - we don't want your business

I sat and waited in a queue for 50 minutes to apply for a home loan only to be told because I earn more than R amount per month FNB will not a approve a bond unless I move all my banking business to them. If I am prepared to move all my banking business to them they cannot tell me upfront whether the bond would be approved. If I earned less than the said amount they could offer me a 100% home loan no problem.
So conclusion = FNB does not want my business because I earn to much? Really got no sense! Will definitely not be moving any of my business to FNB.
