I am disgusted by the service rendered to platinum account holders. I emailed premier@fnb the other day just to ask where the closest premier suite was to my current location and what i need to do when i want to move my wife's portfolio onto mine. I just received a snotty remark back, "Go to a branch" I am sorry, but that is why I have a platinum account and is part of the premier banking facility, to eliminate the need to go stand in ridiculously long queues and waste half a day.

Anyway, I went to the closest branch (Cresta) and the service was just appalling.

The reason I want to move my wife to my account is because I recently opened an Investec account, but did not want to lose my FNB account as I am (or was) a BIG fan and promoter of the bank. But after seeing this bad service I think we should just close my and my wife's accounts and move her to Investec as well.

"How can we help you? " Treat me the way I am expected to be treated.

Oh and after standing in the queue for 1.5 hours and finally getting to the front of the line the lady behind the desk looked at me all baffled when I said I would like to move my wife's portfolio to mine. So we ended up just leaving.
