EBucks - worth it?

Good day

I am a little confused and troubled with the eBucks rewards program at FNB. Not only has the level of rewards dropped after mid last year - my brother saw his rate of eBucks drop suddenly.

Now I discover, after having a credit facility that they charge R200 annually for the eBucks rewards program, sounds familiar to ABSA. So that means 2000 eBucks is actually an unnecessary waste.

Is eBucks really worth it? I wonder...
