I applied for a home loan with FNB, I received a call from their consultant who then told me that I could not qualify based on the fact that I do not have an account with them. This is less then 2 months after the same bank had granted me a homeloan to buy I stand (I did not go through with the stand and decided on buying a house instead) After loding a complaint on this website I was contacted by a consultant from FNB who indicated that they were attending to the issue, a day after which I received a call from one of their property leaders who indicated that he was going to assist me with my application. He then sent me a list of documents that i needed to send to FNB, I sent all the documents then i received a call from the same person telling me that he cannot continue as I bank with FNB... so I am confused as to how can FNB have the tag line that says "how can we help you" when they clearly fail to declare their policies and processes to potential clients, if I had a pending complaint that was not resolved how come the other consultant could not pick that up from their system. Their service leaves much less to be desired..definately not a world class organisation
