Simple repairment of car takes a month or longe

Business & Finance

3 weeks ago I was in an accident. Towing the car to the panel beater (B-Shaw Couachworks) and logging the complaint was quick. But eversince my car is still untouched at the panel beater. I called them several times the last weeks, every time they say they're waiting for parts and they will arrive later the same day. I had a courtesy car for 15 days which means for the last almost 2 weeks I had to hire a car and pay it from my own pocket. I have to drive from ther northern suburbs to town every day so I need a car (or loose my job?) The hiring will cost me more than the access fee I have to pay and noone can tell me when my car will be done. This might take another couple of weeks and cost me thousands. who can afford this? I called First for women (the conversations was going in circles), they say they cant do anything. Apparently they dont have their subcontractors under control/give them deadlines. This is unacceptable and leaves me helpless and upset. I am not happy with the service I receive at first for women. They might be cheaper but if it comes to the point you need them, you pay more than you save on your policy. I am thinking about switching to a more competent insurance
