Account settled but remains active

I have settled my account in full but it remains active on my FNB profile. I have called and e-mailed Direct Axis and I am told that the process of closing an account takes 48 hours. The account was settled in full by 01 Feb 13 and I think we can agree that 48 hours have been seriously exceeded.
Please close and remove the account from my banking profile
