Enbridge Financial Service is a total rip off!!!

My motorcycle was involved in an accident on 18 December 2012. Since it was the Festive Period, all suppliers were closed, so we only got the process going in January 2013. I contacted my Insurance company and provided them with the relevant documentation. I am unhappy, as the quote has been edited to repair certain items that need to be replaced. I have requested that the motorcycle be written off if the original parts cannot be replaced by original parts. The motorcycle only has 10 500km on the clock. Everything on the motorcycle is original. The panel beater confirmed that the motorcycle will not be back to its original condition after the repairs have been done.

I am also insured for an amount of R76 000, according to my policy. My premiums are based on this amount every month, yet the Insurance company is only willing to pay me out the market value of the motorcycle which is R53 450 at the moment. Repairs have been approved for R26 000, yet the original quote was R35 000! My argument with the insurance company is that, they are there to protect me and my valuables. They are quick to charge you a high premium, but find every excuse to NOT to pay out!
