Charged interest on an already settled account

I had an FNB loan account which I settled on 11/10/2012 by paying the given settlement amount of R9752.78 to close it. I was shocked to learn that a "monthly premium" of R856.10 was debited on 25/10/2012. I raised the issue with FNB loans and they refunded R505.37 on 08/11/2012 which I do not understand since they took R856.10 from my account. I tried calling FNB loans several times and I was told that the other amount not refunded is interest and when I asked why I was charged interest if the account was already closed, there was no reason. I would like FNB loans to refund my outstanding amount or give me a very good reason for this impasse.
