First National Bank
Reversal of Debit Order - Amount Differences

Business & Finance

Settled two smart spend loans on 23/12/13. On 24/12/13 I was debited the two installments of the smart spend loans R1364.99 & R814.44. I placed a comment on website 27/12/13 - No response. Visited GW Branch on 31/12/13 was assisted by Beverley who advised that it would be reversed within 7 days. On 31/12/13 I was refunded the totals of R1255.56 and R781.12 I received a call from Bongi and I advised her of the differences in totals. She informed me that the interest that was not charged. I informed her that it was not my problem that interest was incorrectly charged as I had asked for a settlement balance on 23/12/13 and the totals that was given to me was paid on 23/12/13. What if they did not have to debit my account again (if I settled 4 days prior to the debit being taken off my account). What Then?? Would you contact me to advise that your consultants gave incorrect settlement amounts? You owe me an amount of R142.75 which I expect to be reversed back to my bank account. I am sure If I had owed you, you would be quick to debit it, so please can I have my money back.
