Treated like a criminal, when Absa was at fault!

The Finance contract on my vehicle came to an end in October last year, Absa Vehicle Finance phoned me to arrange for the outstanding residual amount. Long story short, we concluded the conversation by me arranging to settle the vehicle in a couple of months, she informed me that the repayment would then simply continue as pr usual (debit order for the last 5 years)

I realised last month that the car wasn't going off my account anymore, and phoned Ford Finance. Turns out, they handed me over to the collection department, as an "arrears account" with an instruction to "Arrange payment or repossess"!

I received a call this morning from Tyron Naidoo, the rudest person I have ever dealt with at a call centre. Halfway through trying to explain the above, he rudely interrupted me saying "I will deliberately disagree with you, you are responsible for debit order payments! " without even giving me a chance. It got so bad, that I eventually asked him for his supervisor's name, he refused and shouted "You can phone anybody, phone Ford Credit, you can find him yourself! " He eventually threw the phone down in my ear!!

His supervisor, Willie Swart was completely biased, insulting and rude!
