I just went through a very bad experience with an online merchant for which I have ample proof that I have been taken for a ride and what they did constitutes and is contravention of the consumer protection act. I have been seeking recourse with the merchant for 2 weeks and they will not budge. But trying to get Virgin to help me file a dispute is futile. First I had to basically strong arm the call center agent into giving me the disputes address as according to her I "should take it up with the merchant", she gave me no further instruction. Then actually emailing this address renders nothing, it's been 48 hours with no reply. I feel lost as I've just went through something very traumatic and now my own card provider is putting me through the same thing. I'm of the opinion that you should be helping me as you make money off of my banking.
