13 Feb 13 A credit machine was deemed faulty and replaced. 06 Mar 13 Established that the machine did not bank R11 759.9 & R3358.35 for that day. Merchant Banking manually captured these receipts. 02 May 13 R642.00 one customer's value was debited off our account - without authorization or confirmation that this was a valid purchase. Whilst I understand Merchant Banking's policy - there was a machine error - Surely this is sufficient evidence that this was a valid purchase. Instead Merchant Banking is holding on to their 3 day rule. Steve stated that he contact the customer to come in and make payment but CANNOT force her to do so. However, Merchant Banking did not hesitate to take money off our account - WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION! Standard Bank Merchant Banking is ignoring all correspondence. Nor are they willing to divulge information regarding the credit card holder. Its not their problem whilst we are out of pocket!
