R2, 000.00 was deducted from my Account

I went to the Std Bank ATM in Parow to draw R2, 000.00. My request was rejected. I then went across to the Absa Bank, thinking the Std Bank ATM was faulty. Again, I received a slip from Absa saying: "Unsuccessful. Try Later".

Immediately my cell phone indicated that money was deducted from my account. To be sure I logged onto Internet Banking to request a Statement. The statement showed the exact same time from the Absa slip and that R2, 000.00 was deducted.

I immediately phoned Standard Bank and I was advised that it would take 14 working days for my money to be returned. I could not wait 14 working days for my own money. I was then advised to go into the Bank, it would take 2 working days. I went to Blue Route Mall, the queque's were out by the door. I explained my story to one of the Managers that walked past and asked why the queues were so long? He replied hat they have been having many of my kind of complaint. I had to leave as my lunch hour was over.

Today, I went to Std Bank in Plumstead and stood in a queue again. After the whole transaction was done, the consultant informed me that it would take 14 working days. Really? I want my money immediately plse.
